Job Summary:
Seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to oversee HORECA channel (Hotels, Restaurants, and Bars) sales operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in alcohol distribution and sales, with a proven track record of achieving targets, launching new brands, and managing a sales team.
Job Description & Requirements:
- Industry Experience: The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience within a Chemicals Trading or Distribution company, focusing on the supply of Industrial Chemicals Raw Materials.
- Experience Level: A minimum of 4-5 years of sales experience, particularly in distributing chemicals used in manufacturing industries such as soaps, detergents, food, and paint. Candidates with prior experience in Africa will be given preference.
- Chemical Expertise: Basic knowledge of chemicals used across various industries and
hands-on experience with a range of chemical applications. - Communication Skills: Proficiency in spoken and written English, with the ability to
compose professional emails to clients. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. - Team Management: Proven experience in leading and managing junior sales teams.
- Product Range: Oversee the sales management of the complete range of industrial chemical products.
- Sales Performance: Monitor and maintain control over sales performance metrics.
- Financial Performance: Responsible for ensuring the financial success of the Chemicals Division.
- Customer Relationship: Manage customer relationships and follow up on payment collection.
- Africa Experience: Preference for candidates with prior work experience in a similar field within Africa.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the various chemicals used in industrial processes.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets within the industrial chemicals segment.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership to the junior sales team, fostering their professional growth and enhancing their performance.
- Sales Performance: Monitor and analyze sales performance, making necessary adjustments to meet or exceed targets.
- Financial Oversight: Ensure the division’s financial success by managing budgets and resources efficiently.
- Customer Satisfaction: Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing any concerns promptly.
Benefits and other criteria:
- Salary: USD 1200
- Overtime: As per UAE labor law.
- Local Food Allowance: USD 160 per month
- Working Hours: Nine (9) hours exclusive of one (1) hour break.
- Accommodation and Transport: Provided by the company.
- Airtickets: One-way air ticket to Dubai will be provided. A two-way ticket will be provided post completion of 2 years.
- Annual Leaves: Air ticket once every 2 years by company.
- Medical Insurance: As per labor law.
- Age: Must be between 21 to 35 years.
