Job Description:
A Semi-Government Company in Dubai is seeking a skilled and experienced Gypsum
Carpenter. As a Gypsum Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in our interior projects,
handling gypsum board installation, partitioning, and finishing works. Your expertise in
carpentry and gypsum-related construction will contribute significantly to the successful
completion of the projects.

Job Responsibility:

• Review and comprehend construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to
  understand project requirements thoroughly.
• Precisely measure, cut, and shape gypsum boards to ensure accurate fitting on
  walls, ceilings, and other structures.
• Expertly install gypsum boards, employing appropriate techniques to secure them
  firmly and maintain precise alignment.
• Create high-quality gypsum board partitions, bulkheads, and suspended ceilings in
  accordance with project specifications.
• Apply joint compounds and tapes skillfully to achieve a seamless and smooth finish
  on seams, corners, and nail/screw holes.
• Conduct meticulous gypsum board layout and marking for cutting and installation
  purposes.
• Install and finish trims, moldings, and other decorative elements to enhance the
  aesthetics and functionality of gypsum installations.
• Perform inspections and make necessary repairs to damaged or uneven gypsum
  installations as required.
• Collaborate effectively with the project team, including designers, contractors, and
  fellow carpenters, to ensure efficient project execution.
• Strictly adhere to safety guidelines and regulations, maintaining a safe and clean
  work environment at all times.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Gypsum Carpenter or in a similar role in the construction
  industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of gypsum board installation techniques, partitioning, and
  finishing.
• Familiarity with various tools and equipment used in gypsum carpentry.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints accurately.
• Proficient in gypsum board cutting, shaping, and installation with utmost precision.
• Skilled in applying joint compounds and achieving a smooth and seamless finish.
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work effectively in various conditions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with a diverse team.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in carpentry and gypsum-related
construction work.

Benefits and other criteria:

• Salary – AED 1400
• Overtime – As per UAE labor law.
• Working Hours – Nine (9) hours exclusive of one (1) hour break.
• Accommodation and Transport – Provided by the company.
• Airtickets – One-way air ticket to Dubai will be provided. A two-way ticket will be provided post completion of 2 years.
• Annual Leaves: 30 days of paid annual leaves as per UAW labor law.
• Medical Insurance: As per UAE labor law.
• Age: Must be between 21 to 43 years.
