Job Summary:

We are currently looking for a skilled Demi Chef to join our team in Phoenicia Malta. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a range of dishes, working closely with the Head Chef to ensure that all meals are of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and cooking food to a high standard, in line with the Head Chef’s instructions
• Ensuring that all dishes are presented in an attractive and appealing manner
• Maintaining a clean and tidy working area at all times
• Assisting with stock control and ordering supplies when necessary
• Following all health and safety regulations
• Assisting with the training of junior members of staff

Requirements:

• Diploma in hotel management
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Good command of English language
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
