Job Summary
The Kitchen Supervisor / Head Chef is responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, maintaining hygiene standards, and managing the kitchen team. The role requires strong leadership skills and expertise in kitchen management, food preparation, and cost control.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily kitchen operations and ensure high-quality food preparation.
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards according to company policies.
- Train and manage kitchen staff, ensuring efficient teamwork and productivity.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for product ordering.
- Implement food cost control measures and minimize kitchen waste.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure proper sanitation.
- Collaborate with management to create and update menu offerings.
- Ensure adherence to kitchen temperature control and food storage regulations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role; 2+ years preferred.
- Experience in Fine or Casual Dining Restaurants preferred.
- Previous experience with brands like Chili’s, Friday’s, Applebee’s, or Ruby Tuesday is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen management, inventory control, and team leadership.
- Understanding of food cost control, hygiene regulations, and kitchen color coding.
- A hospitality/culinary diploma or relevant certification is a plus.

- Salary: SAR 3000 (commensurate with skills & experience)
- Food Allowance: SAR 300
