Job Summary
The Kitchen Supervisor / Head Chef is responsible for managing kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, and leading the kitchen team. The role involves overseeing food safety, staff training, and cost control while maintaining high service standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee kitchen operations and maintain high food quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
- Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff.
- Monitor kitchen inventory and manage stock efficiently.
- Implement cost-saving measures while maintaining food quality.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure cleanliness.
- Work with management to enhance menu offerings and food presentation.
- Follow proper food handling and temperature control guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role; 2+ years preferred.
- Experience in Fine or Casual Dining Restaurants preferred.
- Prior experience with brands like Chili’s, Friday’s, Applebee’s, or Ruby Tuesday is a plus.
- Strong expertise in kitchen operations, team leadership, and food safety.
- Knowledge of food cost control, kitchen hygiene standards, and inventory management.
- A hospitality/culinary diploma or relevant certification is a plus.

- Food Allowance: KWD 24

- Working Hours: 10 hours / day
- Contract Period: 2 Years
