MMPL Global, a manpower recruitment agency is recruiting on behalf of our valued client, a prominent player in the cement manufacturing industry, who is actively seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic. If you possess an ITI in Diesel Mechanic trade and have 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience with heavy vehicles and earth-moving equipment maintenance and repairs, we invite you to apply. Job Responsibilities:
- Maintenance & Repairs: Perform routine and breakdown maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on heavy vehicles and earth-moving equipment used in the manufacturing industry.
- Engine Overhauls: Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical components to ensure optimal functionality.
- Petrol Engine Knowledge: While not mandatory, knowledge of repairing petrol engines will be considered an added advantage.
- Spare Parts Management: Conduct assessments, repairs, and reconditioning of parts in the workshop, ensuring efficient inventory management.
- Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Quickly diagnose and rectify mechanical issues to minimize downtime and ensure seamless plant operations.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and best practices while conducting repairs and maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
- ITI Diesel Mechanic trade certification.
- 8 – 12 years of experience in maintaining and repairing heavy vehicles and earth-moving equipment.
- Knowledge of petrol engine repair is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on mechanical expertise.
- Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Assistant Diesel Mechanic role.
- Preferred Age: Below 35 years.
