Job Summary
MMPL Global, a manpower recruitment agency is recruiting on behalf of our valued client, a prominent player in the cement manufacturing industry, who is actively seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic. If you possess an ITI in Diesel Mechanic trade and have 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience with heavy vehicles and earth-moving equipment maintenance and repairs, we invite you to apply. Job Responsibilities:

• Maintenance & Repairs: Perform routine and breakdown maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on heavy vehicles and earth-moving equipment used in the manufacturing industry.
• Engine Overhauls: Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical components to ensure optimal functionality.
• Petrol Engine Knowledge: While not mandatory, knowledge of repairing petrol engines will be considered an added advantage.
• Spare Parts Management: Conduct assessments, repairs, and reconditioning of parts in the workshop, ensuring efficient inventory management.
• Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Quickly diagnose and rectify mechanical issues to minimize downtime and ensure seamless plant operations.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and best practices while conducting repairs and maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

• ITI Diesel Mechanic trade certification.
• 8 – 12 years of experience in maintaining and repairing heavy vehicles and earth-moving equipment.
• Knowledge of petrol engine repair is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on mechanical expertise.
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Assistant Diesel Mechanic role.
• Preferred Age: Below 35 years.
